The Aboriginal flag colours meaning. Originally designed by Luritja man Harold Thomas in the 1970s to unify and represent our mobs with pride during the Aboriginal Land rights movement. 

Red - Our spiritual connection to our ancient lands and the blood of our people

Black - The Aboriginal people 

Yellow - The sun, the giver of life
